Around 1850 a split occurred in theorical architecture which also influenced practice, and we can see its consequences in various constructions. The aim to measure the influence of theorical mathematical works not directly addressed to the world of constructions but translated and adapted to practice by authors oriented toward practice. In particular, we will see the influence of the works of CulmannCulmann, Karl, FavaroFavaro, Antonio and CremonaCremona, Luigi, translators of HamiltonHamilton, William Rowan and GrassmannGrassmann, Hermann, on the works of authors as Wilhelm Ritter and Otto MohrMohr, Otto.
