摘要

This chapter explores Lebanon’s various initiatives and strategies to provide Syrian refugee children with age- and grade-appropriate textbooks. The goal of these initiatives is to improve the reading skills and overall academic performance of these children. The strategies include providing educational materials in Arabic and English, partnering with organizations to support teachers, and accessing digital learning resources. These strategies aim to ensure that learners receive an education as close as possible to what they would have received had they not been forced to flee Syria. The chapter also highlights that similar strategies can be implemented in other countries. It is recommended to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of these strategies to ensure that they are achieving their intended goal.
