Visual Fields and Driving Standards

Driving is a cornerstone of today’s world, both as a mode of transportation and independence. There are no federal standards for driving in the United States and as such requirements vary state by state. This includes visual acuity standards, but peripheral visual field conditions are not present in each state. It is important thus to know the visual criteria for driving in any state a provider may practice in.
