In this chapter, we will study the basics of undirected graphs. Graphs are widely used to abstractly model networks, circuits, friendship relations, and more. They find many applications in mathematics and computer science. We focus on fundamental examples and basic principles. We introduce common graphs and a few graph constructions, discuss connected graphs and trees.
