  • Teemu Patala

摘要

The COVID-19 pandemic severely impacted the aviation industry, leading to financial strain and downsizing due to decreased air travel. As the industry strives to recover, efficient upskilling and reskilling strategies are essential to meet post-pandemic demands. Attracting and retaining skilled workers remain challenging, necessitating investment in new training methods, partnerships with educational institutions, and diversity initiatives. International projects like the “AVIONIC” initiative funded by the European Union focus on enhancing aviation training through digital curriculums and innovative teaching. The Global ULD Challenge, launched in 2024, aims to improve Unit Load Device Handling competencies to enhance safety and reduce costs through effective staff training. These projects highlight the industry's commitment to adaptability and continuous learning in the post-pandemic era, emphasizing the importance of workforce management for sustained recovery. This paper introduces the cooperative models, concepts, and approaches of these projects, offering insights into their implementation and key achievements.
