The Street and the Circles as a Space for Women’s (re)Existence in the City of Rio de Janeiro
摘要
From the body/city interactions, the chapter intends to present the (trans)political powers of the emerging feminines in environments of circles and parties in the streets of the city of Rio de Janeiro. In this chapter, we will treat the sound culture of the women’s street in Rio as a “fighting field”, capable of bringing about tensions and conflicts in the treatment of very current themes, inserting relevant themes in the agenda of the day, such as: gentrification, citizenship, gender, post-gender, racism, machismo, sexism, decoloniality, heteronormativity, and violence. The feminine ambiences of the Rio de Janeiro streets offer other rhythms, other forms of coexistence, other desires, other ways of creating and elaborating everyday confrontations.
