Since 2017, when preparations began for the collective work published in 2019, Resilience and the EU’s Eastern Neighbourhood Countries: From Theoretical Concepts to a Normative Agenda, major crises have very profoundly disrupted the daily lives of Europeans, accelerating the implementation of policies based in part on resilience as a guiding principle.
