Depression is a prevalent mental health challenge among PLWH, significantly impacting overall well-being and quality of life. This chapter examines the complex relationship between depression, exercise, and HIV/AIDS, highlighting its implications for neurorehabilitation and community health. Comprehensive strategies for enhancing well-being are proposed, including therapeutic interventions, psychosocial support, and community-based health systems. Additionally, the chapter briefly explores the application of these strategies to other chronic conditions such as diabetes, Parkinson’s disease, and bipolar disorder. By addressing depression through integrated neurorehabilitation and community health approaches, outcomes for PLWH can be improved.
