An abnormal mutation in 16 genes causes epidermolysis bullosa (EB), a rare hereditary disorder. Trauma, or friction, causes blisters on the skin and mucous membranes. This congenital disease has the potential to negatively impact the quality of life for patients, their families, and caregivers. This disease frequently had a negative impact on several aspects of these patients’ and their families’ lives. Many of these patients and their families suffer from psychosomatic stress, anxiety, and psychosocial, emotional, and economic conditions. Therefore, managing these conditions is so important to help the patients and their caregivers enhance their quality of life and social activity.
