In this chapter, authors have explored on the substantial potential of cutting-edge technologies, such as blockchain, robotics, Internet of Things (IoT), quantum computing, and artificial intelligence (AI) to improve catastrophe resilience, response, and recovery. It analyzes important trends, obstacles, and possibilities for using these technologies in disaster management through a review of the literature as well as industry reports and case studies.
