Software Solution for Soundscape Modeling

Analysis of information related to the sound characteristics of the urban environment is necessary to improve the efficiency of urban planning decisions and to ensure sustainable development of urbanized areas. The system approach to assessing the quality of urban environment implies the inclusion of an indicator characterizing noise pollution. The purpose of the ongoing research is to identify the peculiarities of the organization of the sound environment of urban spaces and to develop a scientifically based methodology for intelligent analysis and formation of the sound landscape of urbanized areas. The article presents a comprehensive software solution for analyzing the soundscape of the city and modeling various options for its transformation, as well as support and assistance for decision-making in combating noise pollution of urban areas.
