摘要

This book examines the relationship between artificial intelligence (AI) and international law, from human rights and criminal law to trade and arbitration perspectives. The massive development of artificial intelligence in many different professionals, services, and industries shows that it is essential for our current and future generations. Artificial intelligence is a technology that is increasingly integrating into people’s lives. Although AI has numerous functions and assists in many parts, there are concerns about its potentially disruptive effects on some sectors, including international law. This evolution requires new regulations and standards to utilize this technology nationally and internationally. This book reviews some potential aspects of international law arising from the emergence of AI and discusses AI’s implications on some parts of international law. This book shows that while AI could improve human life in many ways, it could raise concerns about the primacy of the rule of law, human rights, criminal law, and even international trade and arbitration. This research recommends that international organizations, states, and the private sector cooperate to ensure that human rights and the rule of law are respected when utilizing AI at national and international levels.
