Translucent Concrete and Its Current Role in the Construction World as Well as Its Future

Translucent Concrete is a building material which is different in comparison to normal concrete because of its light transmissive properties since light optical elements are inserted in it, mostly consisting of optical fibres. In this paper Translucent concrete is explained and how it could promote sustainability in the construction world, is covered here. There are a number of scientific and research papers which are published in the recent years which are considered to find out the gap in the research. Further, the paper highlighted the way Translucent Concrete could play an important role in developing the future of mankind. Some major problems and issues were covered in the paper as well as graphical analysis was performed to support the study.
