摘要

The demand for a high-efficiency lamp results in the development of different kinds of lighting sources, such as LED panels, and fluorescent lights. Those inventions provide high illumination with less heat, in comparison than incandescent lamps. However, the specifications (by manufacturers) are not always shown on the product packaging, or might be slightly different, a little bit higher or lower compared to the characteristics of the lighting sources. In this paper, the research group utilizes an integrating sphere system, one of the most well known experiment-based methods, by using an all-in-one integrating sphere system from the Lisun Group to characterize different kinds of lamps. From the experimental result, various parameters, such as power consumption, luminous efficacy, luminous flux, correlated color temperature, and color rendering index will be compared with the information on the packaging. This will enable some insightful conclusions on the integrating sphere technique to be drawn.
