摘要

This paper presents an evaluative study of solid waste management strategies with a specific focus on hazardous waste, utilizing the Decision-Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) method. Our research targeted the complexities within the Chinese automotive industry, aiming to identify and prioritize influential factors within waste management systems. By applying the Gray DEMATEL method, enhanced by Fuzzy Logic, the study managed to adapt to the uncertainties in expert assessments, crucial for effective decision-making. The methodology provided a comprehensive framework for analyzing interrelated factors influencing service and product innovation in the context of hazardous waste management. Results indicated a significant discrepancy in the risk indices across various sectors, with petroleum processing and coking identified as the highest risk areas, demanding immediate and rigorous management. The study not only emphasizes the necessity for economically and environmentally viable waste disposal methods but also highlights the critical role of efficient management practices in maintaining sustainable business operations. It concludes that the DEMATEL method is an effective tool for understanding and improving hazardous waste management processes, thereby supporting the development of targeted and strategic environmental policies.
