摘要

Bangladesh, primarily an agricultural nation, relies on the interconnected workforce of its people in the agricultural sector. Irrigation plays a crucial role in ensuring bountiful yields; however, manual irrigation methods often encounter numerous challenges. These challenges include the difficulty of irrigating extensive areas and the risk of over-irrigation leading to tree loss and water wastage. To address these issues and usher in a new era of efficient agriculture, this paper proposes a technology-driven solution-an automatic irrigation system utilizing the Internet of Things (IoT). By harnessing IoT technology, farmers can effectively irrigate larger areas in less time, reducing costs, and minimizing water wastage. This paper explores the essential components of such a system, including humidity sensors, soil moisture sensors, and temperature sensors, paving the way for sustainable and technology-driven agriculture.
