Discussion and Conclusions
摘要
Combining theory and practice, this manual offers a challenging, versatile, comprehensive, integrative and research-informed approach whose methodology can be smoothly adopted by primary care professionals (GPs, nurses, social workers and psychologists). It enhances both the patient’s and the professional’s self-resources towards the achievement of greater competence and autonomy. For people who experience mental disorder over extended periods of time, high-quality care involves being supported by a planned system of collaborative care that involves case management, systematic follow-up and improved integration of primary and secondary care. From our understanding, the Multimodal Brief Systemic Training Programme (MBSTP) could be an useful platform. Hopefully, it would be a tool that somewhat will ameliorate the non-mental health specialists’ deficiencies to recognize, diagnose and treat properly mental disorders (Alsalem et al., 2020; Cepoiu et al., 2008; Marchi et al., 2021) .
