Travelling Waves for a Class of Internal Dispersive Systems

We discuss the existence of travelling wave for a class of dispersive systems, using the theory of positive operators on a cone of a Frechét space. This class includes models for the propagation of internal waves with higher dispersion for wave speed large enough, as the system for long internal waves of finite amplitude, the regularized Benjamin-Ono system and some generalizations of the Benjamin-Ono type system.
