Energy Analysis, Phase Plane, Initial Value Problems and the Existence of Infinitely Many Solutions to Superlinear Elliptic Problems

We showcase the effectiveness of tools from the theory of ordinary differential equations, such as the shooting method, phase-plane and energy analysis, and the examination of initial value problems, in obtaining the existence of multiple radial solutions for semilinear and quasilinear elliptic partial differential equations.
