The Third Energy Package’s primary goal was to facilitate energy industry deregulation and harmonization. The primary goal was to ensure regulatory autonomy, promote consumer empowerment, and foster a secure investment climate. The package’s objective was to simplify the integration of renewable energy sources into power grid infrastructure and encourage investments in environmentally sustainable energy technologies.
