Renovating Theory About Levels of Organisation
摘要
The O-theory introduces several crucial innovations, including: three dimensions for hierarchy, dual closure as a mechanism for identifying the fixed order of operators along the upward dimension, and a top-level systems ontology based on the system/object concept pair. For this reason, the O-theory can be seen as offering radical solutions to contemporary problems of analysing natural organisation. However, the focus of the O-theory is on levels of complexity along the upward axis.
