Theoretical Development of the Term Evolution

Having discussed evolution from many perspectives, both biological and physical, it is now time to offer an evaluation of the results. This will be done by analysing the gradual generalisation of the concept of evolution. This will take us on a journey from classical to modern approaches, and from evolution in its most basic form to a meta-approach at a high level of abstraction, involving levels of organisation.
