Investigation into Data Protection Strategies in Complex Digital Health

Numerous healthcare establishments and government parastatals and agencies are facing significant challenges in protecting digital health data. The current strategies to safeguard digital health data need to be more robust, which is a considerable issue. Various challenges are linked to healthcare practices, ethical basics, data governance, regulatory frameworks, and IT quality. These are built upon principles of data fairness, respect for individuals, accountability, and privacy. Our approach to addressing these challenges incorporates the implementation of a risk management sequencing framework. Our proposed contribution involves empirical investigations, data analysis, and the modeling and design of systems and algorithms to enhance digital health data protection. This contribution focuses on six domains: data governance, technology, cybersecurity, data protection regulation, risk assessment, and policies. Additionally, our methodology involves the quantification and prediction of effectiveness with health management protection protocols in this novel approach.
