摘要

In the dynamic realm of construction projects, the integration of technology has become indispensable for ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and ultimately, project success. This paper explores the symbiotic relationship between technology and quality management systems (QMS) within the construction industry. This is achieved by analyzing the benefits derived from the amalgamation of these two pillars, this study aims to shed light on how technological advancements can augment traditional QMS methodologies, leading to improved project outcomes. To collect information from architects, civil engineers, quantity surveyors, mechanical and electrical engineers, construction managers, and project managers, the study used a quantitative survey technique with the use of a questionnaire. With the help of SPSS, the data were analyzed, and the appropriate measure of dispersion and inferential statistics were used. The highly ranked benefits include “operational efficiency”, “continuous improvement” and “enhanced product and service delivery”, this paper demonstrates the pivotal role of technology in optimizing various facets of quality management, such as risk mitigation, communication, data analysis, and process automation. The research recommends the strategic adoption of technology within QMS frameworks as a cornerstone for achieving superior project performance and stakeholder satisfaction in the construction industry.
