Global Warming’s Influence on Temperature Increase

The purpose of this study is to analyze the distribution of temperature patterns on a monthly basis, with a focus on the average temperatures and temperature range in the United States over the past 100 years. By examining temperature data from 1900 to the present and forecasting for the next 10 years, this research aims to gain a deeper understanding of the impact of global warming on temperature rise. Using a combination of algorithms, coding, and machine learning methods, three-term patterns are analyzed and visually represented, incorporating a 95% confidence interval and smoothing coefficients. The findings of this study reveal an obvious increase in average temperatures over the past three decades, with a notable variation in temperature distribution throughout the year compared to the previous century. The monthly forecasted data shows a continuing rise in average temperatures, with April, June, August, and October expected to experience the highest increase, while July is projected to have the highest average temperature. Furthermore, the significant difference in average temperatures for January indicates the possibility of exclusion from the temperature calendar. However, the forecasted data reveal a concerning trend of further warming, with the average temperatures for January and December approaching that of February, implying a potential ecological impact. This study underscores the pressing need for policymakers to take urgent action to mitigate the adverse effects of climate change.
