Kinematics and Dynamics

Kinematics is the study of the motion of a robotic system without considering the cause of motion. There must be force or torque causing a linear or rotary motion. In kinematics, one does not try to find what the amount of force or torque should be. Kinematics deals with the motion of the system and the relative motion between different links.
