Research Output on Artificial Intelligence in India: A Scientometric Study

In recent times Artificial Intelligence has occupied all the fields. It has become great assistance to human in day-today life. The current study explores the features of research publications of India for ten years, from 2013 to 2022, in the field of Artificial Intelligence. It was carried out on a bibliographic database with Clarivate’s Web of Science. It contains the Science Citation Index-Expanded (SCIE), Conference proceedings, the Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI) and its implications. Different variables are considered in this account, including the growth of publications, citation scores, and publications by journals, institutions and countries. The contribution of funding agencies and highly cited papers with an H-index is measured. Six thousand one hundred ninety-four records were found during this period. Twenty-nine thousand five hundred sixty-five authors affiliated with 6659 institutions contributed and received 67021 global citation scores. One hundred twenty-six countries published twenty types of documents with 2266 journals, and all the records were published only in English.
