Creep and Fretting Wear Modelling for Rod-Cylinder Periodical Contacts
摘要
The paper concerns with the presentation of the approach to the modeling of wear processes in creep conditions. The power value of the friction forces, which varies over time due to the stress redistribution during creep, is analyzed. An approach to the determination of the wear coefficient under creep conditions is proposed. The model problem of the periodic contact of the outer surfaces of a thick-walled cylindrical tube with two long rods located along the generatrix is considered. To determine the main properties of the system modeled by finite element method (FEM) use, the problem was considered in the plane strain statement for the middle section of the tube. For tubes made of four different materials, calculations of the stress-strain state during the creep of tubes loaded with internal pressure and which are in contact with the rods were carried out. With the help of the found components of the stress state, the time dependencies for the wear coefficients were determined and the influence of the creep rate on the character of the obtained curves was analyzed.
