AIs and Institutional Administrators

  • Eike-Henner W. Kluge

摘要

The ethical issues that arise in the design and use of AIs by institutional healthcare administrators constitute the focus of the present chapter. Particular attention is paid to the difference between healthcare construed as a right as opposed to a commodity, and to the implications that this has for the nature of the AIs that institutional administrators might use in these distinct settings. It concludes with a few considerations about the limits that are inherent in the use of AIs when the institutional setting is located in a mixed right/commodity oriented setting.
