This chapter expands on the definitions that were presented in Chap. 1 . Its focus is the different way in which the notion of a healthcare professional can be understood and the distinct ethical considerations that this entails. It also provides a more detailed explanation of the concept of a person than was given in Chap. 1 , and indicates how this is relevant for the design and construction of AIs.
