Theoretical Frameworks of WEF Nexus

The chapter explores twenty-four (24) frameworks depicted across twenty-nine diagrams for managing the water, energyEnergy, and foodFood nexus, which cut across different continents. It brought into perspective the various determinants, drivers, and factors that have shaped the WEF nexus in the last ten years. The chapter highlighted nine (9) general attributes across the frameworks and seven (7) gaps. The chapter concludes that the frameworks point to the imperative of using digital technologiesDigital technologies of artificial intelligence and big data analytics for policy formulation and execution in implementing the various WEF frameworks for sustainable security of the resources.
