This work addresses a worldwide research of the first subject related to technical drawing, graphic engineering or graphic expression that a civil engineering student addresses in current study plans, analyzing their main characteristics. For this purpose, 12 universities that occupy the first places in North American, European, Latin American and Asian regions in the 2023 Shanghai Academic Ranking of World Universities have been evaluated. As a result, some indicators on the alignment of the contents and teaching methodologies of the subjects analyzed with the work reality are obtained. From this, it is concluded indicating those aspects consistent with the future performance of the civil engineer, which therefore must be consolidated in academic programs, and pointing out those others resistant to the evolution of the technique, which should be the subject of a reformulation in future study programs related to technical drawing or graphic engineering in civil engineering. This paper belongs to a line of educational research addressed by this Group and is a continuation of former ones sent to this Conference in 2007 and 2019.

摘要

This work addresses a worldwide research of the first subject related to technical drawing, graphic engineering or graphic expression that a civil engineering student addresses in current study plans, analyzing their main characteristics.
