摘要

This paper presents a few illustrative examples of soft robots that can achieve controlled behaviors even in their inherent hyper-under-actuated natures. The rod theory plays an important role in the achievements considering the perspectives of robotics. Here, three types of soft robots, hyper-flexible manipulators, snap motors, and ostrich-inspired arms are presented with appropriate references.
