The Omni-Assistant in Education

This chapter along with the previous chapter outline a scenario whereby the omni-assistant integrates into the education system over the next 10–20 years, and address its associated risks, challenges, and moral dilemmas. In these two chapters, we elucidate key features of the omni-assistant, including its profound understanding of users and their preferences, continuous user engagement, environmental awareness, context comprehension, virtual reality capabilities, and the provision of situation-specific advice to the user. We explicitly explore the potential inevitability of the omni-assistant within the education system, considering the implementation of technology in education and anticipated resistance to its adoption.
