Antisemitism and Trauma-Focused Interventions
摘要
Social workers must be prepared to help clients who are trying to cope with the impact of antisemitism. Antisemitism today is causing Jewish people to have increased levels of depression, anxiety, and trauma. Current acts of antisemitism are also trauma reminders for Holocaust survivors and their children and grandchildren. Through trauma-informed care and evidence-based treatments, social workers can effectively help their Jewish clients.
