Antisemitism: History and Social Work
摘要
Antisemitism is one of the oldest forms of oppression. There are many definitions, but this book uses the definition from the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance. Antisemitism can be traced to the Old Testament where Jews were persecuted for refusing to worship idols while subsequently, for hundreds of years, they were condemned for being responsible for the death of Jesus. The impact of antisemitism is immense and had perforated the social work profession as evidenced in findings presented here from a national study of social workers. Ways for social work involvement are outlined.
