Human Movement: What Is It?

  • José Luis Dinamarca-Montecinos

摘要

The objectives of this chapter are to define the concept of movement in a clinically applicable way and to facilitate understanding of the relationships between movement, health, disease, and aging. To this end, from different perspectives (including kinetics, kinematics, and metabonomics), a definition of movement with a comprehensive clinical orientation is proposed. To exemplify the relationships between movement, health, and disease, the concepts of ‘continuous movement’ and ‘continuous neuroendocrine muscle osseum haematological’ (NEMOH) are proposed and analysed. To exemplify the relationships between movement and aging, ‘protective movements’ are related to healthy aging, and ‘deleterious movements’ are related to pathological aging.
