Grossing of Ear, Nose, and Throat Specimens

Head and neck specimens can be the most complicated of all surgical pathology. No two cases are alike, and many contain multiple anatomic structures. Keeping orientation from start to finish is necessary as the gross description is the most important supplement to the histologic sections.
