Gynecologic and perinatal specimens are common specimens seen in all pathology labs. Solid knowledge of the anatomy is required for the grossing person to maintain proper grossing techniques and organization of these complex specimens. Assess the CPT codes in Table 8.1 for basic knowledge of the charge codes [1].
