Emergence and Theology
摘要
The fourth chapter intends to collect what emerged in the previous chapters, in particular the tension towards the beyond that the study of emergence invites to develop by its nature. In fact, at this point an investigation into the state of the art relating to the theological perspectives of emergence will be proposed. Along the path just outlined and precisely quoting the various authors already encountered, the theological reference appears practically essential, even only in the affirmation of rationalism and of physical causality alone as an epistemological basis. Therefore, some models of approach compatible with the different positions previously explored will be taken into consideration, to try to account for the close link between emergence and religious-theological reflection.
