Integrated Hydrodynamic and Water Quality Models in Surface Waters: Focus on Assessment of the Impacts of Climate Change
摘要
The pressure elements which occur as a result of human activities have intensified in recent years due to climate change and population growth. The negative effects of climate change have increased the urgency of managing the limited water resources. Water quality models are indispensable tools for effective management of water resources. Climate change and water resources, which are in mutual interaction, both have a specific and complex structure separately. For this reason, it is vital to use the appropriate model for the effective management of water resources. The aim of this work is to provide an overview of the sustainable management of water resources under the impact of climate change. To this end, this study also emphasizes the significance of integrated use of hydrodynamic and water quality models.
