Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery
摘要
Over the last decade, minimally invasive cardiac surgery has become adopted by many cardiac surgeons for a variety of open-heart surgeries that are routinely performed where the conventional full-sternotomy approaches were utilized in the past. Minimally invasive cardiac surgery is attractive for many reasons, including: smaller cosmetic incision(s), avoidance of sternotomy-related complications, faster recovery times, and less postoperative pain.
