Comprehensive Synthetic Model for Evaluating Agroecosystem Performance as a Tool for Identifying Key Trends and Trigger Points in Agricultural Territory Development

The purpose of the article is to develop a comprehensive synthetic model for assessing the outcomes of agroecosystem functioning based on the analysis of their agricultural development level and production potential, considering the specific spatial conditions of their activity. The methods used ensured the representativeness of the study and a high degree of authenticity of the obtained results, generalizations, and recommendations. The main provisions and conclusions of the article can be used by regional authorities, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Economic Development in developing comprehensive projects and targeted programs for the development of the Agricultural Sector. For instance, it can faciliate updating the normative legal base of regional agricultural policy; and justifying management decisions in the field of regulating the growth of a specific industry of the Federation’s subject and increasing its food security level.
