Adaptation of Foreign Students in the Educational and Sociocultural System of an Agricultural University

The article presents the results of a study of the adaptation of international students in the educational and sociocultural system of an agricultural university. A brief review of publications that cover the subject area of the study confirms the relevance of finding new approaches to improving the adaptation process of international students and provides an opportunity to analyze the best practices of universities in this field of activity. The theoretical analysis and interpretation of the basic concepts of the study provided the identification of empirical indicators and the development of questionnaire survey tools. The empirical part presents the results of a survey of international students enrolled in higher education programs at Russian universities—476 people who took part in the online survey. The results were processed in the SPSS Statistics program (version 24). The analytical materials obtained are important for improving the mechanisms of adaptation of international students in the educational and sociocultural system of an agricultural university.
