Monitoring of Financial Inclusion of the Stavropol Territory Districts as Part of the Implementation of the National Strategy for Rural Development

In the modern context, the provision of financial services using Internet platforms, and the digital transformation of the economy in general, is becoming increasingly relevant. These tools make it possible to increase the accessibility of financial products and services, as well as to reduce the time for their provision. In addition, the problem of obtaining financial services can be solved by implementing effective measures to reduce barriers to access while creating Internet coverage in remote rural areas and increasing the financial literacy of the population. The purpose of the study is to assess the financial inclusion in the Stavropol Territory, Russia in remote areas. The object of the study in the process of financial services implementation in remote areas is the relationship between various consumers of services and credit and financial institutions and other organizations. Financial inclusion is the subject of the study. Based on evaluation of empirical data, it has been concluded that the majority of the respondents have the opportunity to choose the services of commercial banks in remote access, and less often—of other financial institutions. The results obtained can serve as the basis for creation of regional programs for financial markets development and for further scientific research into financial inclusion in the Stavropol Territory, Russia, which will increase the financial literacy of the population and trust in financial institutions.
