Legal Aspects and Problems of Ensuring Food Security: Foreign and National Experience

This article is devoted to a comprehensive study of the legal aspects and challenges involved in ensuring food security both in foreign countries and in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Food security is influenced by international collaborations and mechanisms as well as the efforts of the government. According to the findings, Uzbekistan's state provides it as a national priority, and it is included in the tasks of several state programs and interests. Besides analyzing the implementation of international obligations, the study also analyzes the effectiveness of the legislative and practical measures implemented to strengthen food security. Based on the analytical indicators published by international organizations, the paper identified Uzbekistan's shortcomings and achievements in the area of food safety. In the field of food safety, particular attention is paid to the development of recommendations to eliminate systemic shortcomings and gaps.
