Generative Artificial Intelligence in Education: Risks and Opportunities

This study explores the possibilities and challenges of artificial intelligence in higher education, specifically the role of Generative Artificial Intelligence in the classroom in order to achieve a more personalized and inclusive university education that enhances students' skills and where professors can devote more time to students thanks to the automation of routine tasks, among other things. In an attempt to move forward, a survey has been conducted to students of the Degree in Economics, the Degree in Business Administration and Management and the Double Degree of Law and Economics of the Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences of Albacete (Spain) to know their perception of AI and then perform a data analysis taking into account the use of such technology by university students, as well as their knowledge of risks and benefits. This research is intended to be a breakthrough in the integration of generative artificial intelligence in education.
