Introduction to Teaching English for Academic Purposes: Theory into Practice

English for Academic Purposes (EAP) has fast become the norm in higher education around the globe, especially in programs where English is used as a medium of instruction. Among many other factors, EAP instructors’ expertise and skills play a crucial role in maintaining educational quality and helping students attain their academic goals and expectations in EAP contexts. This strong connection between the quality of teaching and the quality of learning led to the creation of this book, ‘Teaching English for Academic Purposes-Theory into Practice,’ which aims to provide a comprehensive resource for instructors who are currently employed or aspiring to teach in EAP settings.
