Identification of the Factors Influencing Game-Based Learning in a Game “The Tournament of J. C. Maxwell”

摘要

The paper presents educational game “The Tournament of J. C. Maxwell” and results of pedagogical survey realized among 55 students in Slovakia. The goal of the survey was to identify factors influencing successful use of the game as a learning tool. The students expressed their positive attitude to the game they played in questionnaire and interview. Teamwork, the way the team is formed, movement and change of activity, content and difficulty of the game, discussion and competition were identified as factors that might affect attitudes to the game as a learning method.
