Design and Analysis of Material Handling Equipment of Cladding

摘要

Material handling is the loading, unloading, and movement of commodities within a factory or warehouse, sometimes with the assistance of mechanical gear. Thus, material handling equipment refers to gadgets that assist a warehouse in its operations by transporting and storing commodities. It frequently entails the movement of big, heavy, or bulky objects. A range of tools made possible by contemporary technology can be employed to simplify the process and lessen the weight that material handlers must lift by hand. In this current research work, a design strategy is used to create a cladding and a component-based new material handling device. The device was designed using CATIA V5 software and the static structural analysis was done using ANSYS R22 to calculate the deformation, stress, and damage analysis. ANSYS simulation techniques, the paper aims to assess the bin's structural strength and load-bearing capacity under different operating conditions. Additionally, the design process will incorporate considerations for ease of handling, assembly, and maintenance, contributing to a user-friendly and sustainable solution. Ultimately, the paper seeks to provide valuable insights into the design principles and optimization strategies for material handling bins, addressing the specific needs of industries requiring efficient and reliable solutions for the transportation and storage of materials.
